OOD – Attempted project management didn’t take
This wiki post serves as a place to collect ideas about program changes, iterations on machine configuration and so on. The ideas that team laser captures here will be talked about in meetings and on slack. Those ideas that make the cut to be acted on will be turned into tasks on asana for the team to address.

Decisions made / ready for action
- Bug: Compressor is “walking” a lot when running – idea get non slip base for it that is heat resistant = Yes, need to make task to come up with method/engineer solution, or find a product to purchase and try. = Present out the project to the membership and try to get done in the 30 days.
- Bug: Duster only works on the exterior, hard for short people to use, duster covers missing – idea: get duster (with covers with longer skinny handle) = Duster and Vac Mod. need one task for each. Vac mod to stay in team for nw
- Improvement: Get a digital timer for the filter so users are mindful about the 50/10 rule. – Ordered will be here 1/6/20 – Done usable = Task need to label with reset
- Bug: Wiggle in cuts and vibration from the compressor. – idea: purchase a 2.5 in lens instead of the 2 in currently installed. See rational in slack = Yes, Tasks: Purchase request including coms with LO (bernard), install, check alignment, make new focus tool (get info from LO)
- Documentation: New filter box needs asset intake (possible to just replace the smaller one) = Bernard will do
- Bug: need manual or basic use instructions for new filter box, this is a request to LO. – need filter replacement info especially = Yes, Need to make task to gather question – write an email – ML
- Improvement: Replace dryer line with more sturdy fireproof flex line (like what comes out of the laser) to the shop exhaust = Add elbow from blower and then add flex line + more rigid elbows up at ceiling level (possible to reuse) = Yes = Task of order any needed parts and install, salvage what we can, write to be farmed out
- Documentation: Do a bigger print out of Startup and Shut down lists – RS to do
- Documentation: Do a Poster size of Startup and Shut down lists – Deferred till printer is available
- Bug: Materials poster is out of date – idea get new vinyl one printed and glue pockets to it. OR Take it down and develop something new = Develop a new materials data standard and solution. Task: One create a project for a new standard and to take down the poster.
- Documentation: Post this awesome PDF to the wiki for AMT266 – Yes, make it something others can contribute to (source is Adobe Illustrator, need to post native files to the [email protected]) – jr to do
- Improvement: Reinstall valve in case but with drip pan, just in case there are issues in the future. Idea: add checking the pan to regular maintenance. – Yes, we should do it. Task: source drip pan, reinstall Task: Add checking it to the maintenance schedule
