Lacking the automatic filament detection and removable build sheet of the Mk2.5, the Mk2 is still a reliable workhorse.  Entertain yourself by going to the Menu>>Statistics and marveling at how many meters of filament this machine has printed over the years!

  • up and calibrated. [@thullar @ 10/05/2023 03:52 am]
  • down, filament uneven and catching; nozzle possibly needs to be unclogged. [@alexis.champsaur @ 09/30/2023 05:08 pm]
  • Up, filament loaded and machine calibrated. [@thullar @ 07/06/2023 05:27 pm]
  • Down, filament doesn’t load. [@mpiszczo @ 06/23/2023 07:43 pm]
  • up, moved up the z on the first layer calibration 0.4mm because the first layer was squished [@maxmorrison94 @ 05/23/2023 09:31 pm]
  • down. Will not load filament even when preheated and appears to be moving. [@mwin.cat @ 05/09/2023 04:47 am]
  • Up, correctly calibrated, successful test print. [@thullar @ 04/17/2023 06:59 am]
  • up reset layer zero calibration and tested out ok [@hoco @ 04/16/2023 11:08 pm]
  • DOWN [@mwin.cat @ 04/16/2023 05:42 pm]
  • Up and calibrated. Small piece of filament was stuck in the extruder head. [@thullar @ 03/06/2023 05:04 am]
  • down will not load filament. The hot end seems to be clogged. [@hoco @ 03/04/2023 02:36 am]
  • Up replaced layer fan. [@hoco @ 01/11/2023 03:29 am]
  • Down, front fan working sporadically. Diagnosed as an intermittent broken wire in the fan wiring harness. Will need replacement. You may be able to use the machine for simple parts and large shapes, but avoid use for important projects. [@thullar @ 01/09/2023 11:32 pm]
  • Down Layer Fan is not operating and the prints suffer as a result. [@hoco @ 01/08/2023 01:48 am]
  • Up, front fan not running for at least some prints. Fan itself is working when tested. Successfully ran a test print (PLA) without the fan. Using the same Gcode file on both printers causes front fan to run on the Mk2.5, but not the Mk2, suggesting the fan behavior is caused by firmware differences. Will upgrade firmware and continue to investigate; for now, if you want to use the Mk2, consider adding supports or repositioning tricky prints. [@thullar @ 10/17/2022 06:51 pm]
